Visa-free regime for citizens of 80 states officially introduced in Belarus
Visa-free short stay in Belarus will be in effect from February 12.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s decree No 8 has been officially published. It introduces a 5-day visa-free regime for citizens of 80 states arriving at the Minsk National Airport. The edict does not apply to foreigners arriving by plane from Russia.
The decree will come into force in a month – on February 12. It will cover 39 European states including all the EU member states. The innovation is expected to increase the number of tourists in Belarus.
