Victor Yanukovich amnesties Euromaidan participants

The law is called “On prevention of negative consequences and inadmissibility of prosecution of people involved in the events that occurred during peaceful actions.”

Yanukovich signed the law presented to the President’s Administration, interfax.by reports referring to the Ukrainian President’s press service.

The Ukrainian Parliament adopted a law lifting charges from all participants of the protest actions starting from November 21 until the day the law would come into power. Action participants cannot be prosecuted and should be released. These people are also considered to be untried.
