Venue approved for Congress of Democratic Forces
The management of the Palace of Culture of the Minsk Truck Works has agreed to offer premises for the Congress of Democratic Forces to take place on May 26-27 in Minsk.
In an earlier development, the palace's administration rejected the request from the opposition, saying the venue had already been booked for a children's festival.
However, after the Minsk City Hall gave a go-ahead for the event to take place in Minsk, the palace's management rescheduled all other events on those. The Congress of Democratic Forces will host 900 delegates from across Belarus, reports Belapan.
