Universities in Belarus invite applications

Major universities in Belarus, both state-run and private, have announced an intake of students to take place from July 12 through July 29, 2007, under the general enrollment procedures. The deadline of applications for the so-called "power" colleges (police academy, etc.) is July 16. This year, the Ministry of Education has approved a unified procedure to keep the would-be students informed about the results of entrance exams. The information about the number of filed applications should be updated at least every three hours during the working hours of the intake commissions.

This information will be made available from the intake commission offices and at the university's web site, reports Belapan.
