Uladzislau Hancharou wins gold medal at Rio Olympics!
Uladzislau Hancharou has won trampoline gold for Belarus at Rio Olympics! Hancharou, 20, was a success in the final and got 60.745 points. Chinese Dong Dong and Gao Lei won silver and bronze medals with 60.535 and 60.175 points respectively.
20-year-old weightlifter Darya Navumava won a silver medal for Belarus earlier.
Uladzislau Hancharou was born in Vitsebsk on December 2, 1995. He is participating in the Olympic Games for the first time. He won a silver medal at the world championship in 2015 (and a bronze medal a year earlier). He also won gold medals at the European championships in 2014 and 2016. Hancharou is a student of the Belarusian State University of Physical Training.
