Ukrainian army to receive 720 tons of frozen meat from Belarus

Cargo worth millions of dollars /

In Odesa, customs found 720 tons of frozen meat from Belarus. Its cost is about 3.6 million dollars. After the examination, the meat will be handed over to the Ukrainian army, the State Bureau of Investigation reports.

Belarusian-made meat was in 36 refrigerators. It has a long shelf life. These products were transported through Ukraine in transit even before the war started. When it did, the shipment of meat was blocked. The State Bureau of Investigation notes that the customs officers did nothing to "hand over the discovered goods of the country-accomplice of the aggressor to the authorized bodies of Ukraine in time."

This is not the first cargo or property of Belarus and Belarusian companies confiscated in Ukraine and handed over to the Ukrainian military. They recently received smuggled Belarusian cigarettes.
