Ukraine federalisation referendum may be held on May 25
Ukraine's interim president says the referendum may be held on the day of presidential elections.
Head of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Turchinov does not exclude that the referendum on Ukraine’s federalisation may be held if the Parliament decides to do it.
Turchinov announced it at a meeting of faction leaders and heads of parliamentary committees, UNIAN reports. Turchinov is sure that the majority of Ukrainians would vote for an independent, democratic and unitary Ukraine if the referendum was held.
