Ukraine delays introduction of import duty for Belarusian goods

Украіна прыпыніла ўвядзенне спецпошліны на імпарт шэрагу тавараў з Беларусі

Ukraine has suspended the introduction of a special import duty (39.2%) for Belarusian goods until September 15. It had to be imposed on May 1, the Interagency Commission for international trade announced.

The special import duty was supposed to be imposed on dairy products, beer and vodka, kitchen furniture, tyres, refrigerators and Belarusian tractors. The special duty is Ukraine’s response to our country’s measures affecting Ukrainian confectionaries and breweries. However, Minsk and Kiev started looking for solutions to this problem.
