Ukraine declares Monday a day of mourning for Polish president and other Smolensk plane crash dead

Ukraine has declared Monday April 12 a day of mourning for the victims of the plane crash near Smolensk that killed Polish President Lech Kaczynski and dozens of top poilitcal and military leaders of the country. The UNIAN news agency reports this decision was made today by Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich during his visit to the Polish Embassy in Kiev. Latvia and Russia also declared Monday a day of mourning. Lithuania will observe morning for three days.
