Texas teachers are allowed to bring guns to schools

Teachers and school employees working in Herald District of Texas have been allowed to bring guns to work. The permission has been given to allow self-defence in case of shooting.
However, teachers have to get a gun registration and to go through a course of actions in emergency situations. Moreover, they have to use special cartridges to minimize the chance to ricochet.

It took officials a year to approve the permission to bring guns to schools. However, teachers have no other way to protect themselves at work and the danger of shooting exists.

By the way, the decision taken in Texas is a precedent. Guns in schools are forbidden all over the country.
