Let us remind you, the activists have been detained during the flash-mob action under the motto "Votes are not for garbage - votes are for counting".
Pashkevich has told to Euroradio the policemen explained that the flash-mob had interfered with the citizens:

Pashkevich: "They approached us near the GUM store and detained, stuffed us into a police car. Then we had to spend an hour in the Central district department of internal affairs. They claimed local residents had complained about us. In the end, they released us after an hour of detention".

The flash-mob which was conducted in three places of the capital, was supposed to show the necessity of transparent ballot boxes at the election - without those the votes go directly to garbage bins. The participants of the action covered the garbage bins with black plastic bags and glued stickers which said "Hide the garbage, not the votes". At the same time. the activists left holes in the bags so that the flash-mob would not interfere with the people who wanted to throw the garbage away.
