Tank truck exploded in Almaty, block of flats caught fire (photo video)
The incident occurred in Kazakhstan on Thursday. 20 flats have been burnt down. The tank truck driver has died.
A tank truck turned over in the centre of Almaty (probably the brakes wouldn’t work), its driver died. The tank truck exploded destroying 10 cars parked nearby. Then an 8-storey block of flats caught fire. 20 flats were destroyed.
40 people were evacuated from the house. The place has been encircled and rescuers are extinguishing the fire, RIA Novosti reports.
There is no detailed information about victims at the moment.
