Supreme Court convicts KGB officers in Lomats's beating case

The Supreme Court of Belarus has found three KGB officers and one staff from the State Secretariat of the Belarus's Security Council of exceeding their duties with the use of violence in the case of the beating of the influential chairman of the State Control Comittee, Zyanon Lomats, reports Interfax.
Syargey Narkevich received 5 years in a high-security prison. Aliaksandr Arlouski was sentenced to 2 years in a general prison. Yury Zagorski and Syargey Manayeu were restricted from military service for one year.

All of the four were stripped of their military ranks.
