The recent students’ action Love and Solidarity March was discussed in the programme Editors’ Club on Belarus 1 not long ago. The action was held in the centre of Minsk on December 2. Several dozen students were protesting against having to pay for retaking tests.

"Students of one of the universities tried triggering off a small coloured revolution. There is politics in it,” editor-in-chief of the magazine Belarsuakaya Dumka Vadzim Hihin concluded.

Editor-in-chief of SB.Belarus Today Pavel Yakubovich spoke about various aspects of the problem: drawbacks in the work of the universities when students who pay for their studies consider education as ‘a service’ and even refer to the Bologna Process. ‘The young people start thinking that they are a political force’ and protest instead of studying, Yakubovich believes.
