Students’ March participant Hleb Vaikul to stand trial today

Second-year student of the BSU department of philology Hleb Vaikul who took part in the Students’ March will stand trial in Minsk Maskouski District Court today. The young man is accused of violating the order of conducting mass actions. The young man was waving a white-red-white ribbon at the march.

 

The trial is appointed for 3.30 p.m. Pavel Syarhei was fined for taking part in the Student’s March for Br 4.5 million earlier.

 

The unauthorized action was held in Mink on December 2. Young people demanded that the university administration cancelled the order making students pay for retaking examinations and allowed students to take part in the administration of the university life. About a hundred people took part in the action, nobody was detained.
