Stones and smoke bombs thrown at pro-Ukraine demonstrators in Odessa

As soon as the demonstrators headed for Deribasovskaya Street, flash-bang grenades and smoke bombs were thrown at them, UNIAN reports. Stones were also thrown.

Information about shots and blasts near Sobornaya Square appeared later. Activists from both sides were throwing stones at one another. The police tried to separate them.

The number of victims has not been reported. Odessa Avtomaidan leader Evgeni Razvushkin received a serious eye injury. Traumatic guns were noticed on pro-Russia activists, journalists said. Judging by metal beads found in the streets, participants of the conflict are also using pneumatic weapons.
