Stalinism victims remembered in Minsk
Members of the public commemorated the victims of Stalin's repressions at the Cheluskintsy Park and the Kurapaty site at Minsk's suburbs.
People lit candles, laid flowers and read prayers. No police was noticed at the park, yet several uniformed police officers were standing by at Kurapaty.
The police were monitoring several dozens of young people who came to Kurapaty after the trial of several activists of the Malady Front.
The action was organized by a public committee for the commemoration of the victims of political repressions in 1920-1950s, reports Belapan.
