Special police troops “hijack” regular bus in Minsk

Special police troops that were “hunting” for the leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka “hijacked” a regular bus in Minsk.  The politician and five other people got on the bus near the Head Post Office after the protest action was over. Members of special police troops also got on it. They detained Lyabedzka and told the driver to follow their directions. They ordered a police car with the help of their transmitters.

The bus stopped near the City Hall and the politician was made to get in the car waiting there, reports “Charter-97”.

Anatol Lyabedzka will stand trial in Maskouski District Court of the capital today.
