Small business activist Parsyukevich transferred to prison in Minsk
Small business activist Syarhey Parsyukevich was transferred from a
prison in Shklow, Mahilyow region, to a correctional institution on
Minsk’s Kalvaryyskaya Street on July 24, BelaPAN reported.
Parsyukevich’s wife, Natallya, said her husband informed her about the possibility of a transfer while meeting with her on June 30.
According to Natallya, the declared reason for the transfer of her husband, a retired police major, was that all convicted law-enforcement officers allegedly served their sentences in the Minsk prison.
