Slonim entrepreneurs forbidden to enter Minsk

Групу прадпрымальнікаў са Слоніма міліцыя не пусціла ў Мінск

A group of private entrepreneurs from Slonim (12-13 people) has not been allowed to enter Minsk this morning. The police stopped their minibus in the outskirts of the city. The policemen said that the car could have been stolen and that they needed to examine it. The entrepreneurs were taken to a police office, Radio Liberty reports.

Slonim entrepreneurs travelling in their own cars will be able to come to Minsk, Perspectiva council member Victar Marchyk said.

A mass visit of private entrepreneurs to the Ministry of Taxation (near the House of the Government) will be organized in Mink today. They will bring written appeals demanding to cancel the President’s decree #222 (forbidding them to sell light industry goods without certificates).
