Skies open over Minsk airport after volcano ash crisis

The Belapan news agency reminds that almost all the flights from Minsk to European cities were cancelled from April 17 to April 21 due to a volcano eruption in Iceland.
The air travel in Europe is said to be restored by 100 percent on April 22. Airlines said they lost nearly $2 billion because of the delays and demanded compenstation from the European authorities. Belarus' flag carrier Belavia has not yet revealed the amount of losses.
