Shumchanka and Statkevich urge entrepreneurs to express collective disagreement

Head of the republican association Perspectiva Anatol Shumchanka and ex-political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich have urged private entrepreneurs to express collective disagreement with the President’s decree #222 near the Ministry of Taxation at 1 p.m. on March 14.

Minsk City Executive Committee has forbidden Shumchanka and Lyabedzka to organize the Entrepreneurs’ March in Minsk appointed for Mach 14. The activists are planning ‘to keep protecting entrepreneurs’ interests and rights’ and it will be done ‘in legal ways’. Private entrepreneurs need to be ‘united and firm because the future of small-scale business in Belarus depends on it’, Anatol Shumchanka and Mikalai Statkevich stressed. The visit to the Ministry of Taxation should become ‘the first step’, BelaPAN quotes them.
