Several government ministers may be sacked soon

The Web site My reports that the Presidential Administration considers a reshuffle of the Council of Ministers.   In particular, Economy Minister Mikalay Zaychanka reportedly submitted resignation. His earlier resignation requests were rejected by Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Zaychanka has reached the retirement age.

Trade Minister Valyantsin Chakanau, 52, also may be dismissed. He was appointed to the post in January 2009. Prime Minister Syarhey Sidorski is reportedly dissatisfied with his performance.
