Senegalese beauty swindles 3000 dollars out of Vitsebsk builder
A 25-year-old guy from Vitsebsk didn't even think he would become a victim of swindlers when he decided to find a girlfriend on the Internet. A beauty Tina from Senegal sent him a letter alongside with other girls. The girl was writing in English and Andrei was translating her letters with the help of a software translator while looking though photos of the skinny Negress with smiling eyes. First it was intriguing to write to an exotic black girl but then the guy felt pity for her.
Tina told him she had to move to Senegal from Rwanda because her parents died in an armed conflict. The girl found herself in another country without friends and relatives. Moreover, according to Senegalese laws, the 20-year-old Tina was still considered to be a minor and couldn’t make use of her parents’ money.
Suddenly Tina confessed that she had fallen in love with Andrei and that the Vitsebsk guy was the only person she could trust. Tina asked Andrei… to become her tutor. She promised to share her money with him and to come to Belarus to marry him and live happily.
He only had to pay a little sum of money to help her prepare all the necessary documents. The “prize” was not only the black beauty but a great sum of money – nine million dollars waiting in one of English banks. Tina gave his lawyer information about Andrei and everything started.
First he sent 120 USD to some account in the far Senegal, then he sent 280 and then – more than 2 thousands. The guy received some papers looking like real documents about tutorship in return for his money. He also received further instructions from the lawyer and love letters from Tina.
The next sum – 6000 USD was to be sent to China. Andrei did not have such amount of money because he was working as a builder. The guy started suspecting he was being swindled and turned to Pershamaiski District Department of the Interior for help. Investigators immediately stated: swindle!
This variant of swindle called “Nigerian letters” has been registered in Vitsebsk for the first time. But there have been several cases like that in Belarus. The police say Andrei has practically no chance to return his money.
The only thing the police are sure about is that the money was received by someone in Senegal. It is impossible to identify the swindler at the moment.
