Selection of candidates to run for deputies to start on July 20
The selection of candidates to run for deputies of the House of Representatives will start in Belarus on July 20. District election commissions will start accepting applications from future candidates to register initiative groups. BelTA notes that it is necessary to collect at least one thousand signatures of electors to become a candidate (the collection should not start before July 20). Initiative groups should consist of at least 10 people.
