SBU heading for Simferopol District to stop Russian APCs

"Our members will take measures to avoid violation of the public order,” UNIAN reports referring to the press group of the Crimean department of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).

There are 7 APCs in the village of Ukromnoye near Simferopol now, mass media report. They are said to be going to help guard the objects of the Russian Black Sea Fleet deployed in Crimea.

Armed strangers seized the Crimean Parliament and Verkhovna Rada today. They call themselves members of the Russian-speaking Self-Defence. Russian flags were hoisted on both buildings.
