Russia's customs did not allow Belarusian dairy shipments to enter Russia

Russia's Federal Customs Service denied issuing orders to regional branches to let Belarusian dairy shipments into Russia, Interfax reported with reference to a Russian senior customs official.


The official stressed that Rospotrebnadzor alone can lift the milk ban.

 

On Wednesday, the press office of the Smolensk Customs Service said it received a verbal order to let Belarusian dairy shipments to cross the border into Russia.
