Russians afraid to go abroad
People in Russia believe it may be difficult to get European visas due to the sanctions over Ukraine.
A lot of Russian tourists have refused from trips abroad for fear of Russophobia, RIA Novosti quotes press sectary of the Russian Union of Tourist Industry Irina Tsyurina. The other reason for refusing from trips aboard is the increase of the dollar and euro exchange rates, she added.
According to the Russian Union of Tourist Industry, the number of trips abroad has dropped in Russia this year. At the same time, travels inside the country has gone up by 25%.
