Russian Polina Bogusevich wins 2017 Junior Eurovision

The international children’s song contest Junior Eurovision-2017 finished in Tbilisi on November 26. Russian Polina Bogusevich won it with the song Wings.

Georgia was Russia’s main rival at the contest. The hosting country received more points from the jury, but viewers gave more points to Russia. Australia was third.

Belarusian Helena Meraii took the fifth position following the Dutch band Fource. 

The Maltese jury gave 12 points to Belarus. Belarus gave 12 points to Georgia. Armenia, Albania, Poland, Ukraine and Russia also gave 12 points to the hosting country.

The 2018 Junior Eurovision will be held in Minsk.
