Russian PM expected in Minsk next week

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Minsk on October 27-28 to take part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of the Heads of Government of CIS member countries, reports BELTA quoting the press office of the Russian government.

On October 27, the prime ministers of Belarus, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will review several key integration-related issues on agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). They are also planned to discuss a draft of the new Customs Code of the EAEU, approve the 2017 union's budget draft and sign several documents.

On October 28, Minsk will host the Council of the Heads of  Government from CIS member states. It will focus on the development of trade, economic and industrial cooperation, humanitarian ties and food safety. Several agreements in various fields will be signed.
