Russia lifts ban on milk shipments from Belarus

Gennady Onishchenko, Russia's chief sanitary officer, has announced that Belarus will be allowed to resume shipments of dairy products to Russia on Thursday morning.   Syamyon Shapira, Belarus' agriculture minister, promised that the Belarusian side will bring all technical documents into line with Russian standards.

 

Interfax reports that Onishchenko, Shapira and the Belarusian health minister inked a protocol of negotiations on Wednesday.
