Richest Belarusian could buy “Chelsea” after 25 years of saving

The Belarusian Tax Inspectorate has announced information according to which the biggest declared income of a physical entity in 2006 reached 20 billion roubles (more than 9 million dollars). The name of person and the sphere of his interests are kept a secret. Let us remind you that the head of the administration of “Prior-Bank” Syarhey Kastsuchenka made a sensational announcement this March. He said there were at least 7-10 thousand dollar millionaires in our country. But there are still no Belarusians on Forbes lists (not taking into account the Russian oligarch Aleh Dzerypaska).

The European Radio for Belarus counted how many years were needed so that the richest Belarusian could collect money to buy the British football club “Chelsea” from the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich. Let us remind you that Abramovich bought it for 250 million USD.

To collect this sum of money (yet the oligarch may want to rise the price to earn several dozens of millions) the Belarusian will have to work and save for more than a quarter of a century. To reach the position of Abramovich on Forbes list (almost 19 billion dollars) the Belarusian millionaire would have to live and work for more than 2000 years.
