Yermakova not to go to annual session of IMF and World Bank
The session will take place in Washington on September 22-25.
Head of the National Bank Nadzeya Yermakova represents Belarus in the International Monetary Fund. She was supposed to go to Washington on September 21 as a head of the Belarusian delegation. However, on September 22 the National Banks' reception has informed to the BelaPAN news agency that Yermakova has not left for USA and is available at her working place.
Minister of Finance Andrej Kharkavets, who heads the Belarusian delegation instead of Yermakova, and Minister of Economics Mikalaj Snapkou have arrived to Washington.
According to some mass media, Yermakova was denied an American visa. However, this information is not confirmed yet.
