Yauhen Kanstantsinau’s trial to be resumed in Navapolatsk
The hearing had to be postponed because a drunk witness appeared in court during the activist’s trial.
The activist was detained on June 17. He was accused of petty hooliganism. Kanstantsin’s flat was searched before the detention. The activist spent the weekend in a detention centre, notes the website of “Vyasna”.
The trial was appointed for June 20. However, the judge did not manage to interrogate the drunk witness the activist was said to have cursed. Kanstantsin was let off and went home from the court room.
The hearing will continue today, on June 22.
