Yarmoshyna: Ministry of Defense has reported 100% turnout!
Election is claimed to be valid at all of 33 polling stations in the military units.
The CEC Chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna has told journalists at a press conference in Minsk.
"A
representative of the Ministry of Defense has just reported to me that the
election is fully completed at all of the 33 polling stations located in the
military units. There are 39 of them in total, but 33 subordinate to the
Ministry of Defense directly. There are also internal troops and the Border Guards - 6 more polling stations. The election is valid, the voters'
turnout, not surprisingly, has made 100%".
According to Yarmoshyna, the OSCE international observers have visited about one
third of the polling stations in the military units.
CEC reports the election has been valid at 58 electoral
districts by 14.00. The turnout has made more than 50%. Minsk traditionally
lingers behind - the turnout is far from recognizing the election valid.
