Video records not to help to find attackers on Lithuanian Embassy?
Only two fast-moving dark outlines are seen in the video record of the observation cameras of the Lithuanian Embassy in Minsk.
It is impossible even to
tell whether they are men or women. According to BelaPAN, the Lithuanian policemen - the diplomatic
mission's security service - have informed this to the Belarusian
investigators. The video records have not been transferred to the investigation
so far.
The incident happened at about 11 p.m. on November 6. Two fiery bottles were
thrown to the Embassy's territory. The security service managed to extinguish
the fire quickly; therefore "Molotov cocktail" did not cause any
serious damage.
The Investigation Committee
has started a criminal case for hooliganism committed by a group of persons.
Meanwhile, the Lithuanian politicians call this act terrorism, not hooliganism.
