Victoria Azarenka: on top of WTA rankings for 30 weeks
Winner of the Australian Open Victoria Azarenka has preserved the first position in the world rankings.
The Belarusian tennis player has been topping the rankings for 30 weeks on end - since July 9, 2012. On the whole, she has spent 49 weeks on top of the WTA rankings, BelaPAN reports.
American Serena Williams has replaced Russian Maria Sharapova in the second position in the new rankings published today.
