The Belarusian-Russian duet defeated the pair Michaella Krajicek (the Netherlands)/ Lucie Safarova (Czech Republic) in 1/8 finals - 7:5, 6:3. Victoria and Marina will play against the American duet Liezel Huber / Lisa Raymond to get to the semi-finals.
Azaranka will play 1/8 game against Russia's Katerina Makarova in singles today, BELTA informs.
Men's doubles: Belarusian Maxim Mirny amd Canadian Daniel Nestor defeated the pair Christopher Kas (Germany) / Alexander Peya in the third round in two sets - 6:3, 6:4. Mirny and Nestor will play against Robert Lindstedt (Sweden) and Horia Tecau (Romania) in the quarter-finals.
