Ukraine cancels summit in Yalta

According to UNIAN, this has been informed by head of the press-center of the Ukrainian MFA Alyaksandar Dzikusarau. According to him, the event will take place not on May 11-12, but later. The terms will be defined by the diplomatic channels.

Let us remind you, five Presidents of the European countries (Romania, Albania, Croatia, Czech Republic and Montenegro) directly said that they refused to participate in the summit because of Julia Tymoshenko's case. The German President did not say this directly but such conclusion was evident judging from the comments of the German MFA.

Moreover, Presidents of Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Italy, Austria and Slovenia refused to go to the summit having referred to other reasons. Nevertheless, some of them expressed their worries with regard to Tymoshenko's case.

Presidents of Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Moldova confirmed their participation in the summit.
