UEFA disciplinary committee to consider Renan Bressan's case today

Upon the results of the  Champions' League 3rd qualification round home game against the Lithuanian "Ekranas", Bressan was disqualified for two games. BATE FC insists on one missed game instead of two and filed a corresponding appeal. Renan Bressan will attend today's hearing.

According to "Pressball", head of BATE administration Anatol Kapski hopes that they will manage to defend the midfielder. The lawyers collected materials about similar cases, which happened at he World Cup and in the Champions' League, when the players who had been sent off were not punished for coming onto the field after the final whistle.

Let us remind you, BATE will play the second Champions' League play-off game against the Austrian "Sturm" in Gratz. The game in Minsk ended in a draw - 1:1.
