Toomas Hendrik Ilves re-elected as President of Estonia

Estonian Parliament re-elected Toomas Hendrik Ilves  as President of Estonia, ВВС informs.  The son of Soviet refugees and the former "Radio Liberty" journalist will remain at his high but mainly ceremonial position for 5 more years. 73 Estonian MPs out of 101 voted for 57-year-old Ilves. His only rival was ex-Chancellor of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and current MEP 47-year-old Indrek Tarand.
