The Toobes get prizes for 15 thousand euro

The Toobes gave a performance at one more Polish festival and won a prize of 50 thousand zloty (about 15 thousand euro). The Belarusians trio won at KortoFest on Olsztyn last weekend.

“We have finally been understood and appreciated. This is one more great beginning”, - says bass-guitarist Stas Murashka.

The jury assessed strong finalists and decided that The Toobes deserved a victory: “The band’s fantastic energy and sensational music should be presented all over the world”.

As a result of the victory, The Toobes can use 20 thousand zloty to record a studio album at “Studio-X” – the official sponsor of the festival. The remaining 25 thousands will be spent on a new video, advertising campaign and a Polish promo-tour. The guys are still thinking which album should be recorded in Poland.

“Our first and second albums were recorded unofficially. We are thinking of taking the best songs from these albums and some new ones and making an album for the Square”, - said the drummer, Stas Lamakin.

The Toobes are not going to rest on their laurels: the Belarusian rockers will take part in a festival in Polish Szczecin at the beginning of June.
