"Tell the Truth" activists get jailed
October District Court has jailed Svyatlana Volkava for 5 days and Yury Fabisheuski and Alyaksei Maroz - for 10 days for disobedience to the police.
Svyatlana Volkava was detained at about 7 p.m. on January 9, Radio Liberty reports referring to representative of "Tell the Truth" Tatstsyana Karatkevich. No details have been reported. Distribution of the Civil Agreement leaflets could be the reason for the arrest.
Volkava managed to inform about the detention by phone on January 9. She said that she had been fingerprinted but they had not explained the reason for the detention. She spent the night in the police office.
