Syarhei Kavalenka transported to Mahilyou colony #19
The political prisoner was transported from Vitsebsk detention centre on Saturday, May 19 and his relatives did not know where he would be transferred.
The political prisoner’s mother, Lidziya Kavalenka, has informed Radio Liberty about it referring to Vitsebsk Penalty Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Let us remind you that Vitsebsk Province Court dismissed the prisoner’s complaint about his sentence on Friday. Syarhei Kavalenka resumed his hunger-strike on May 8.
The CCP-BPF activist was sentenced to “home penal labour” for hoisting a white-red-white flag at first. However, his was imprisoned for a violation of the “home penal labour” regime later.
