Strasbourg court to consider Georgia's claim against Russia
Georgia filed a claim against Russia in connection with deportation of ethnic Georgians from Russia in September 2006 and in the beginning of 2007.
Let us remind you, these events happened after several Russian citizens had been detained in Russia. They were accused of espionage for Russia. The Georgian side demands to recompense moral and material losses to the deported, RBC reports.
The Great Chamber, which consists of 17 judges, will consider the case. The Chamber also includes the President and the Vice-President of the European Courts on Human Rights.
