South Korea expects attacks from the north

A South Korean frontier guard threw a grenade at "an unidentified object" moving in the border zone 118 kilometres away from Seoul. Soldiers searched the area but found no "traces of the DPRK invasion". The alarm was cancelled 7 hours later, RIA Novosti reports.

North Korea protested against USA-South Korea joint manoeuvres at the beginning of March and refused form all the previous agreements with its southern neighbour including the non-aggression pact. Pyongyang has threatened U.S. military bases in the Pacific Ocean and on the continent with missile blows many times before.
