Russia commemorates victims of Cuban flood
Russia's President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree the day before.
State flags will be lowered at the whole territory of Russia and in the foreign representations of the country. Cultural establishments and state TV-channels are recommended to refrain from showing entertaining programs.
Let us remind you, at least 171 people died in the flood in Krasnodar Territory. 27 deceased have not been identified. 205 people addressed for medical help, including 48 children. The cities that suffered the most are Novorosiysk, Gelendzhik, Krymsk and Krymsk district.
The water went up by 7 meters in Krymsk and Krymsk district. It washed off and flooded residential buildings and villages.
