Radzkou to West: We won't take carrot; are not afraid of stick

Meeting in Maladzechna, he spoke among other issues about the relations between Belarus and the West. Mr Radzkou reminded that "recently German MP Uta Zapf who heads PA OSCE special working group on Belarus (she is resigning from this position - Euroradio) complained in some newspaper interview: "Speaking about the stick and carrot policy with regard to Belarus, we have no more sanctions to impose, but they don't want carrot in Minsk either."

"This means as Frau Zapf concluded that neither stick nor carrot worked in Belarus," Narodnaya Gazeta quotes Alyaksandr Radzkou as saying. This is absolutely natural: we don't need your carrot, we can treat you ourselves. As for the stick, no one can get us with that anymore!".
