Prosecutor's office asked to check nomination of candidate Savanovich

He was nominated as a deputy candidate by the staff of the housing and utility station No. 48 of the communal services department No. 1 of the Frunzenski district of Minsk. However, the workers themselves say they do never nominated Savanovich. He was declared the winner in the election at Kalvaryiski electoral district No. 104.

The prosecutor of Minsk has been requested to check whether Savanovich was nominated legally, by master of the housing and utility station No. 48 Pavel Spirin. Nine other members of the organization joined him. The station’s workers say that there was no nomination meeting and everything was done upon the order of the chief of staff Vasil Shashok. The workers demand to start a criminal case against this person under Article 192 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of the legislation on elections, on referendum, on recall of a deputy and on  realization of the citizens’ right for a legislative initiative").

Director of the communal services department No. 1 of the Frunzenski district of Minsk Hanna Yagorshava said she did not know of such a meeting, to TUT.BY correspondent.

She confirmed that master Pavel Spirin indeed worked for the organization. However, the director said that he did not come to work and his whereabouts were unknown. His phone is also unavailable.
