Prosecution claims falsification of report on Tymoshenko's injuries

The expert conclusions about Julia Tymoshenko's bodily injuries have been falsified. This has been informed by the acting prosecutor of Kyiv Syarhei Safieu, the Ukrainian media report. At present, the prosecutor's office of Kyiv is checking the note filed by the human rights commissioner Nina Karpachova.

The prosecution says that the expert conclusions were written by the employees of the secretariat of the Ukrainian State Council's human rights commissioner. Safieu says that Karpachova influenced the contents of the document.

As for the ex-ombudswoman, she thinks that the prosecution replaced her note to the General Prosecutor with regard to the incident with beating of Julia Tymoshenko. According to Karpachova, the prosecution started pressure on the human rights commissioner's office instead of conducting a checking in the colony.

Let us remind you, the pictures of bruises on Julia Tymoshenko's body were published on April 27. The ex-PM says that she got these injuries from the colony's employees when they forcibly took her to hospital.
